Hello and Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Carol and I hope your Christmas and New Year celebrations are meaningful and happy. Our year in 2022 contained great moments and some challenges along the way.
Through the middle of November we continued to work with Mount Bethel Church (Mt Bethel, PA) in the role of Pastor of Mission and Ministry. We drove each month and served with the staff for 10-14 days each month for 21 months. What a wonderful, loving church, and Pastor Chris and Suzie Priestaf are doing a wonderful job of serving and leading this very special body of believers-many of whom are now our dear friends!
We have been off the road about a month and will no longer regularly travel to Mt Bethel, PA. Praying MBC finds a full time man to fill the role. This fall our awesome “kids” – Paul & Erin Lewis; Suzanne & Nathan Adams ; Jeanne and Dave Dahl hosted a party to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. December 30, 1972 – 2022! We feel so honored and blessed to have such thoughtful children and 11 grandchildren.
Paul and Erin and their four children live in Little Rock , AR ; the rest of us in Cleveland, GA – Nathan and Suzanne + four children; Dave and Jeanne + three (one in heaven, two with us on earth).
Carol and I continue to serve in relationship healing/building ministries with singles, couples, and groups in the USA, Mexico, and to encourage several godly leaders in other parts of the world.
Our Heavenly Father continues to provide our needs financially, spiritually, and blesses our marriage “to keep on keeping on” in His service. We hope to keep serving until Jesus comes!
We trust and pray you are well and blessed finding life joyous and fulfilling despite these turbulent days in our world. We count it a special blessing to know so many wonderful friends, family, and fellow servants of Christ. We wish we had time to see each of you and get caught up.
