Merry Christmas to You and Yours
Because we work with a wide variety of people with different backgrounds and experiences, Carol and I have seen greatness in many people. We have seen pain and struggles as well. Ultimately, we want everyone to see the greatness of our Savior Jesus Christ. His coming to earth in the form of a baby, born to a virgin 2000 years ago, the life He lived, the death He died, His resurrection from the dead, and His loving intercession for us now at His Father’s right hand, all point to one thing. Jesus Christ can be trusted with our eternity and with our today in ways that no one else can.
Simply put, Carol and I are privileged to walk alongside many couples in their difficulties and in their celebrations, but we are very limited. Jesus is not. Our goal is to “hold the hands of those who want us to” until they reach out to Jesus themselves and take His capable, powerful, and loving hand.
We will continue to love and walk with those who come to us for help, but eventually they will have to rely on God’s truth and love to carry them to the abundant life Jesus promised. We are not saviors; Jesus is. We can help and care and comfort to our limited degree, but Jesus is not limited by time, space, or even the severity of our struggles.
The baby Jesus came to live, to die, to rise from the dead, and to be the Savior of the world. He wants to be yours for Here and for Hereafter. Ask Him. Receive Him. Trust Him.
