To The Men of Mt Bethel Church
Since May, 2021, I have had the honor of serving you as Pastor of Mission and Ministry. Pastor Chris has shared with the church the news about my resignation and our meeting with the church, Monday, October 10 at 6:30pm, to give more details about how Carol and I came to that decision.
My time with Mt Bethel Church has been wonderful, and I have particularly enjoyed meeting our people in homes, at our apartment, in restaurants, and at the church. I have great love and respect for Pastor Chris, our staff, the elders, and our church as a whole. My primary focus since coming to MBC has been building relationships with the men of our church- both single men and married men.
Builders Men’s Ministry has a team of men who’ve helped me at every point along the way. That team has included in varying engagement the following: Brynn Daigle, Ken Durr, Wade Fredheim, Torry Froisland, Tommy Johansen, Ben Little, Mac McNeely, Kyle Mohr, Dick Wenner, along with Pastor Chris. These are great men who love God and want to serve the men and families of our church and community. My great admiration and appreciation go out to these men.
Even though I am leaving at the end of November, we have a great line up for our men planned Oct 11, 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15 as we convene our Builders Men’s Bible Study groups – “Being a Godly Influence in Your World”. This study will focus on the Beatitudes in Matthew 5:1-12 – in case you want to get a head start on the study. We start each night at 7pm and will have you out by 8:30pm. Snacks will be provided along with some great time around the table with men from varied generations. Hope you can join us beginning next Tuesday evening.
Carol and I look forward to being with you in PA from Oct 10 through Oct. 25. Our planned time for November is from the 7th through a date to be determined. We look forward to seeing many of you at the October 10 church meeting. She and I will be hosting the “Maximize Each Relationship” seminar October 21-22 also. Details at www.mountbethelchurch.org.
I will be hosting with our Builders Men’s Leader Team the men’s breakfast with Rob Fields, Saturday morning, Nov. 12. Details at www.mountbethelchurch.org
I look forward to what God will do as Mt Bethel Church moves into its future years, and I am grateful for the strong foundation you as a church have built together under God’s leadership.
